Origami, anyone?

I adore origami. That might be part of why I will be found folding church programs into little shapes for my nephew when they come to visit. Origami is an inexpensive way to decorate and it looks gorgeous! The only thing you need is time and paper. Here are some ideas of how to use it.

Feathers?

So, I'm up for different. Feathers mixed in with the wedding bouquet? Possibly. It would be a great way to bring in the beautiful green found in peacock feathers.

Where to buy bulk flowers

This website gives a list (2009) of places to buy bulk flowers!
As a DIY crazy person such as myself, I have had a little experience in making bouquets and boutonnieres and centerpieces. It is something I want to do for my wedding. I will want some more experience before I launch right in and I will probably need the help of some sisters/friends, but with a limited number of brown and green flowers, this is the main reason why I chose cream as a third neutral color in my color scheme. Cream flowers are everywhere and I love cream more than a starch white.

The idea of buttons...

I absolutely adore buttons. They are so adorable and I could put them on anything. Button themed wedding? Hmm...this has really caught my attention.
Button themed wedding? Something to think about!
